Apricus Health's New Cowboys Clinic Brings Premier Hand Therapy to Townsville's Heart
In a significant move that promises to enhance healthcare accessibility for Townsville residents, Apricus Health has expanded its operations to Cowboys HQ.
The new clinic, nestled within the purpose-built Hutchinson Builders Centre, is set to provide outpatients the best quality hand therapy in collaboration with leading allied health providers.
Co-Founder and leading hand therapist of 20+ years, Cassandra Chiesa, has said the tenancy is a natural progression in the brand’s desire to increase accessibility to critical outpatient services,
‘The convenient location with surgeons, sports physicians and physiotherpists allows us all to be able to work collaboratively with individuals who require an intricate rehabilitation pathway,’ added Cassandra.
Apricus Health joins Dr Andrew Stillwell – Orthopaedic Surgeon, North Queensland Physiotherapy Centre, Sports Clinic NQ, NQ Foot and Ankle, and James Cook University.
‘Up until now our closest clinic to the city has been Pimlico, so we have been able to now increase our availability to people closer to the city,’ said Cassandra.
The open-by-appointment-only clinic will be most convenient for individuals requiring specialist hand therapy, as well as occupational therapy for persistent pain and workplace injuries.
Apricus Health's Hutchinson Builders Centre clinic officially opened its doors on 3rd October, 2023, and is currently open by appointment only.
