Apricus Health Attends ANZBA's Burns Rehabilitation Course

By Apricus Health

21st November 2024

On November 9th, 2024, Cassandra and Alexandra had the privilege of attending the Burns Rehabilitation Course (BRC) hosted by the Australian and New Zealand Burn Association (ANZBA). This invaluable experience allowed us to deepen our expertise in supporting burn survivors as they navigate the complexities of post-acute and long-term rehabilitation.

The BRC is an intensive course specifically designed to provide healthcare professionals with advanced, evidence-based knowledge and practical skills in burn treatment and recovery. The training highlighted the importance of addressing not only the physical challenges of wound healing but also the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery, emphasising the comprehensive care required by burn survivors.

At Apricus Health, we believe in the power of continuous learning and professional growth to ensure we deliver the highest standard of care at every stage of our patients’ journeys. Participating in this course has reinforced our commitment to staying at the forefront of healthcare practices. Additionally, working alongside ANZBA and connecting with other professionals dedicated to improving burn care was both inspiring and humbling.

This opportunity reflects our unwavering passion for advancing healthcare and our dedication to empowering burn survivors as they rebuild their lives. By investing in knowledge and collaboration, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide exceptional care and support to our patients and their families.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to ANZBA for organising such an impactful and informative session!
