About the Role:

As a Physiotherapist in our Hand Therapy team, you’ll play a vital role in providing high-quality care across a diverse caseload. You will treat upper limb injuries, including sports injuries and degenerative conditions, and have the opportunity to work at the NRL Cowboys Centre of Excellence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct clinical assessments and deliver effective treatment plans for a wide variety of neck, shoulder and upper limb conditions including work and sports related injuries.
  • Work independently and manage your caseload alongside a supportive and experienced hand therapy team.
  • Provide treatment at both our Pimlico Clinic and the NRL Cowboys Centre of Excellence, ensuring clients receive the best care.
  • Upskill in orthoses fabrication, with both internal and external professional development, if this is an area of interest.

Requirements:

  • An interest in upper quadrant therapy (neck to hand) and a commitment to professional development.
  • Experience with sports injuries, closed trauma, or degenerative issues.
  • 3-5 years of musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience in a private practice setting is highly desirable.
  • A special interest and/or experience in shoulder rehabilitation is desirable, but not a requirement.
  • Bonus: Experience or training in dry needling, red light therapy, ASTYM/IASTM, InterX Therapy, Pilates, Strength and Conditioning.
  • Full AHPRA registration, a current First Aid/CPR certificate, and NDIS Workers Screening (or willingness to obtain).
