Phew! What a year! Our first year as Apricus Health has been fast-moving and at times, very challenging,  with a good mix of laughter, joy and fun moments.  

We navigated a Covid outbreak at the beginning of the year which was tough on our team and our clients, but we managed to 'make it work' (haven't we heard that a lot over the last few years!).  Small business is never easy, but it is especially tough in regional areas particularly when we have a global pandemic and a national workforce shortage. We have really appreciated the support from our referrers, partners and clients. Our relationships and community mean the world to us.   

We have seen an engagement, a wedding and have had 3 babies born this year and another one due in April 2023. For some of us 2022 meant that we got to see, and hug, family members that we hadn't seen for 3 years so it has been a pretty special year.  

We have had the pleasure of welcoming new team members to our Apricus Health family, and saw some staff move on to their next adventures.  Excitingly, we are set to see four new graduate therapists start work with us in the New Year and we are welcoming another experienced hand therapist and a new Operations Specialist to our team. Our paediatric team is growing and so we continue our hunt for an experienced paediatric OT.  

Who knows what will happen next year, but we are ready and we are excited to get started (after a well-earned rest, of course).  We are extremely blessed to have an amazing team who strive to provide an excellent service every single day.  Our team is like family, and we have laughed and cried together this year. Without each other we probably would have dropped a few more balls than we did (we are only human after all!).
